Congratulations to all our players who have achieved during the Club Championships. They were well acknowledged at our Presentation Dinner last Thursday.
The weather for both the Men and Women tested everyone’s skills. To the many who completed the process well done. The women’s championships are under review as we want to be inclusive for all women Wendy our Captain has asked for input via a survey. I encourage you all to have a say. The district championships were held on Monday in near perfect conditions. Curlewis was well represented with Wendy Tottenham Runner up in 27 hole Comp and Vicki Carney Winner of 18 hole Gross.
Match Committee is reviewing several annual Comps to try and rejuvenate and gain more participation. The Indices will also be under review once enough data is obtained.
Our Juniors are so exciting and to watch some of their Pennant matches was a privilege. I have to make mention of Paige Moorfoot who just turned 10 not only played Pennant but won the Regional Primary Schools Final and will now go into the state Final next week. We wish her well.
