Round 3 Report
Division 2 played Lonsdale at a very dry East Geelong. Unfortunately most of the team had “one of those days” and we were defeated 5/2. Doug Parkin and Matt McFarlane were our winners on the day, continuing their good form.
After the break while Curlewis hosted both Division 2 and 3, our Division 2 team plays this week against Portarlington at 13th Beach.
Division 3 played fellow unbeaten team Torquay at an equally dry Winchelsea. The team had a solid 5/2 win. We welcomed Connor McKee to the team for his first game of senior pennant. After being 2 down early, he got on a roll to record a great 5 and 4 win. Wayne Marendaz and Tom Dunkin continued their winning form and Bernie Ryan got a good win on the board.
This week Division 3 play Geelong at Clifton Springs
Thanks to Eric Fleming, Bernie Den Besten, Ziggy Whitcombe and Marty Chaffey for their work on a long day of hosting at Curlewis for Round 4.

Round 4 hosted @ Curlewis
On Sunday 7th April 84 pennant players from Division 2 and Division 3 hit our beautiful course.
The day was a great success with all groups teeing off in time. Players were also very impressed with the condition and changes around the course.
A huge thank you to our kitchen and bar staff for their great work. I would also like to thank my two pennant managers Grant Peacock and Ziggy Whitcomb as well as Bernie Den Besten and Eric Fleming, thank you all for your help in running a successful day.
