Bowls are starting in earnest this week, with Clifton Springs GC leading us off with their Open. As I detailed in the last newsletter, the next few weeks’ feature events all around the district, and it’s so good to see that Curlewis has at least one team entered into every one of them. There are still spots available in some, so have a look at the timesheet for opportunities to enter.

Last time I didn’t have a link for the Queenscliff Ambrose, and I promised to include that in this newsletter. Fantastic to see two teams already for that on our timesheet. Here’s the link if you’re also interested in submitting a team yourself.

ANGLESEA – SWGA Women’s Irish 4BBB
There’s one full team on our timesheet entered into this SWGA event, which kicks off the Women’s District Events Calendar for 2025. Trish has also added her name to the timesheet to start a second team, and would love some teammates to join her and enjoy this fun day.
And into March we look – at this stage, I don’t have any other details for the following days coming up in March, but it’s a good opportunity to flag them on your calendar now, in case you want to start putting a team together.
