The Golf Victoria (GV) Board has two (2) Casual Vacancies available and is seeking nominations from within Victorian golf.

The Board seeks your support in communicating this to your membership base to assist GV in the identification of potential Directors.

Please note the roles and responsibilities included within the position description linked below. In addition, please note the following in relation to any potential candidates:

  • Two casual vacancies currently exist.
  • Candidates should not be current non-executive directors of their club board/committee or of a regional district association board.
  • At least one of the two successful candidates must be female. Golf Victoria respects the move to 40% gender representation on Boards.
  • At least one of the two successful candidates should have a background in finance/accounting.
  • Successful candidates would be required to make themselves available for election at the next Golf Victoria AGM following their appointment to the Golf Victoria Board.

In accordance with the Golf Victoria Constitution and By-Law relating to the casual vacancies within Section 10 of the constitution, when available these appointment can be made by the Board until the next Annual General Meeting.  

For candidates interested in nominating to fill one of these casual vacancies, please complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form linked below. This will then be passed onto the Board for consideration.
